Final performances
Mockumentary final performance
During this week, we filmed the last scenes for the Hip Hop episode so that we could finally have a wrap.

In order to film the last couple of scenes for this episode, we had to make sure we had all of the cast on set, as all the scenes we had to film requied every character to be in. For example, all the scenes that we had to film was based around the talent show and the dance montages that needed multiple people as it consisted of a lot of dance battles among the characters. Moreover,we also had to make sure that we had all the props that we needed for them scenes and for each character e.g. we needed the head bandage for Beths character in the final scene.

Furthermore, I worked collaboratively with others during the final shoots of our Hip Hop episode by helping people produce ideas, as well as sharing my own ideas with coming up with dance routines to put in the dance montage scene so that we could produce something different, not a typical dance style so that we could show an interesting side to the characters when they freestyle their own dance which makes the viewers more enticed into the scene.

For example, an individual action that I recommended for the dance montage scene at the end, was that Leah and Abi do a dance together to show their close bond to everyone and that they always have each others back no matter what. This further allowed us to show how alike they are and that they always wanted to achieve the same goal together even when Leah did not seem to, she always had Abi's back and would do anything for her.

This was a successful task for our mini-series because it allowed all the characters to show their different personalities and highlight the person they are, making them stand out from each other through their different styles of dance and how they react to each other. As a result, this helped give more of insight into the different characters in the episode and how similar Abi and Leah are.

However, during the collaborative task, when we were figuring out what dance routines each character should have in the final scene, it became very slow and time consuming, so moving forward I am going to suggest that we all reserach more into the type of character we are and how their personality would effect the way they dance so they know some dance moves off the top of their head rather than thinking of some which became a slow process.

Monologue final performance
In todays session, we performed our monologues that we had been working on during B5.

In order to make sure that my performance of my monologue was perfect, I had to make sure that I had my props ready for the performance to give a more clear visual of what I was acting. Fore example, my monologue starts off with a slow and gentle tone and progessess into a more firm and nasty tone, so I wanted to start off by sitting in a chair in the beginning to show my clam tone but stand up when it progessess. As a result, I had to make sure I had my prop chair all prepared and ready for my performance.

I worked collaboratively with others during this task by helping produce ideas as well as sharing my own when helping people make their monologues more visual too by using props and different varies of emotions throughout so that their monologue can come to life more with the different tones and actions. This helped make their monologues more interesting in their own unique way and help entice the audience more, rather than just standing still the whole time.

For example, an individual action that I suggested whilst helping peoples monologues stand out was to waer something in your performance that resembles your character. This helps give a more insight into the type of character you are playing and their personality which therefore allows the audience to visualize your character more clearly.

However, during the collaborative task, It became very indecicive at times on what we could do to make our monologues stand out a lot more as it depended on the type of monologue that was being performed, so moving forward, I am going to suggest that we do more research on our monologues and watch films that could be related to them so that we could get more inspiration on how we could perform our monologues to make them stand out.

Reflection
On the overall series, I believe that it was very successful as we all worked as a team together to help each other in the different episodes by being extras for some scenes or even suggesting any ideas that we believe would help the performance of some scenes. For example, I took part in being an extra for the superhero and debate club episodes which helped fill up the background, giving that illusion of a school environment, and therefore helping the scenes look more realistic and successful.

Furthermore, the Hip Hop episode was also very successful as I was able to use technical skills such as John Wrights comic stop, to use throughout scenes so that we could give that Mockumentary effect to the viewers and to also show how my character was feeling in that present moment through my movement, which I found was very successful.

On the other hand, in certain areas, the overall series was unsuccessful at times as a lot of the time when we would be filming all day, everyone would become tired on set, resulting in people losing concentration and becoming agitated which made the filming process slower, so moving forward, I am going to suggest that we break up our filming days and do some scenes on one day and more on a other day. For example, in the debate club episode we had to be on set for 8 in the morning in which we did not finish until late in the evening which made people very tired and exhausted.

Moreover, I personally found that during the filming of the Hip Hop episode, I found it challenging to clock the camera at certain times which was unsucessful as I needed to remember to clock the camera to give that mockumentary effect and pull the viewers in. So, moving forward I am going to revise the areas on my script where I need to clock the camera so that I am more prepared at the times I need to clock the camera.
